Amplify Life App
As the lead UI / UX designer I worked closely alongside the product manager to develop engaging user flows and screen designs. The app aims to engage users with an aggregated health and fitness data service giving custom training advice – leveraged by artificial intelligence.
The Timeline
The core concept was based around creating a health and fitness timeline. This timeline includes filters to sort your data including : Notifications, Challenges, Training Plan, Events and Activity.
The App
This is a hybrid app built using Ionic framework and available to download on both Google Play and The App Store.Working in “agile” with sprints every 2 weeks set out on Jira ticket system.
I used Android emulator and initially tested the app in “Test Flight” before release.
Daily UX whiteboard sessions along with the Product Specialist and UX Lead, I contributed to both UX planning as well as creating engaging screen designs.
New designs were created in Sketch and proofed to key stakeholders using Invision. Html prototypes were occasionally created to communicate detailed interactions.

In addition to designing the interface of the mobile app, I also had the pleasure of working on the UX and design of the company website. The focus here was to drive downloads from App Store and Google Play.
